THE CHARTERS
The Crusader II provides charters to the Nab, Solent and Needles areas. Hence local pick up points are available from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington.
A typical day's fishing in The Solent
A typical day would be 8 hours from pick up dependant on tide times. Night fishing trips are also available. However the Crusader II is available for hire 7 days a week 24 hours a day so we can always tailor a package to suit your requirements.
The catch: bass, tope, conger, rays, bream, plaice, mackerel and many other species. See the gallery page for a selection of some of the fish caught on our trips.
Wreck fishing and deep water angling in The Solent
Wreck fishing, deep water reefs, sand banks and rough ground trips are all available.
All types of fisherman can be catered for on the trips, from the experienced to the beginner as full tuition is offered. Rod hire and provision of bait is also available. We also cater for the corporate market should you wish to include hospitality on your day trip. Children may also experience the day providing they are accompanied by an adult.
Most charter days are for full hire of the boat and the skipper but we also run a number of specialist fishing days throughout the year where individual anglers can take part and book on a per person basis.
